Evergreen Funds by Net Assets

The top 10 of Sekond’s monitored evergreen funds collectively manage $49.3 billion in net assets, according to the latest SEC filings. The formation years range from 2014 to 2022, showing a mix of established players and newer entrants in the space.

Partners Group Private Equity Master Fund, formed in 2018, holds is the largest fund of Sekond’s monitored funds with $16.5 billion in net assets, representing roughly one-third of the total assets across the top 10 funds.

Two funds formed in 2014 appear on the list. AMG Pantheon Fund reports $5.6 billion in net assets, while Apollo Diversified Real Estate Fund holds $3.9 billion.

StepStone Private Markets Fund, formed in 2019, manages $4.9 billion. Hamilton Lane Private Assets Fund, formed in 2020, holds $4.2 billion. First Trust Alternative Opportunities Fund, formed in 2016, reports $2.8 billion in net assets.

Three funds formed in 2021 or later appear on the list. Cascade Private Capital Fund and Ares Private Markets Fund, both formed in 2021, manage $3.4 billion and $3.1 billion respectively. Carlyle AlpInvest Private Markets Fund, formed in 2022, holds $2.5 billion.

StepStone Private Venture & Growth Fund, also formed in 2022 and another fund managed by StepStone, reports $2.4 billion in net assets.
